Cutervo National Park

Cutervo National Park is the oldest National Park in Peru. It was established September 8, 1961 by means of Law N° 13964 by the Peruvian Government as the first protected natural area created. Its creator was Salomon Vilchez Murga (1907-1993), a recognized Biologist who was born in Cutervo, Peru.
