Daisy von Scherler Mayer, sometimes credited as Daisy Mayer (born September 14, 1966) is an American film and television director. Mayer was born in New York, New York in 1966. She is the daughter of actress Sasha von Scherler (1934–2000) and Paul Avila Mayer (c. 1933 - July 10, 2009), and a granddaughter of screen writer Edwin Justus Mayer. Daisy graduated from Wesleyan University in 1988.
