Dale Launer

Dale Launer (born 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American comedy screenwriter. His best known films include Ruthless People, Blind Date, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and My Cousin Vinny. In 1997 he sold his spec screenplay Bad Dog to Dreamworks for $3 million. It has yet to be filmed, but is in active development. In May 2007, his film Tom's NU Heaven, which he wrote and directed, won Best Picture at the Monaco Film Festival.
