Daljit Neer was a presenter for Leicester's local television station MATV Channel 6. Presenting shows such as Sanjha Panjab, Lok Virsa, MATV Live Talk, Aap Ki Mehfil and Ek Mulakat, he soon became a television personality who interviewed many popular people including Amir Khan, Dev Anand, Makit Singh, Gurdas Mann and many more.
Having been a presenter on the BBC Asian Network for a couple of years he returned to MATV on 4 December 2006. In June 2007, Daljit signed up to work for Raaj Radio to present a radio show playing old and new punjabi songs.
