Daniel Kevin "Dan" Fogler (born October 20, 1976) is a Tony Award-winning American actor, playwright and filmmaker.
Fogler originated the character William Barfée in the original Broadway cast of the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Along with actor Sarah Saltzberg and Jay Reiss, he was one of the original creators of the show when it began as the improvisational play C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E on Off-Off Broadway. In 2005, Fogler won a The Lortel, Outer Critics, Broadway World, Drama Desk, and Tony Award for his portrayal of the middle schooler with a rare mucous membrane disorder and a magic foot.
He is a founding member of Stage 13 Theater Company, and premiered his first film as director Hysterical Psycho - a Studio 13 production in association with Stage13 - at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.
