Mulloy's short films have garnered over one hundred international awards. They have often premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The first to do so was Antonio's Breakfast in 2006 which went on to win the British Academy Award and in 2007 won an Imp at Les Lutins du court-métrage, making Mulloy the first British director to receive the award.
