Daniel Petrie, Jr.

Daniel Petrie, Jr. (born November 30, 1951), the son of Daniel Petrie, Sr. and brother of Donald Petrie, is perhaps best known as one of the screenwriters of the mid-1980s hit movies Beverly Hills Cop and The Big Easy as well as the director of Toy Soldiers. He also was the president of the western chapter of the Writers Guild of America in the 2000s.
