In 2003, Warner founded Virtuelle Records as a showcase for his recent music. With philosopher and theorist Christoph Cox, he co-edited Audio Culture: Readings in Modern Music (Continuum, 2004), a collection of critical and theoretical writings on contemporary music. He is an authority on the developing field of installation art and has produced installations in Europe and the United States.
