Darin Lee Brooks (born May 27, 1984) is an American actor. Born and raised in Honolulu, Brooks has one older brother. Darin Lee Brooks (born May 27, 1984) is an American actor. Born and raised in Honolulu, Brooks has one older brother. After experiencing acting in high School, he moved on to studying with acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, and learned more at the Carter/Thor Studio in Los Angeles. He portrayed Max Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives from June 22, 2005 to July 6, 2009. Darin Brooks was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Don and Susan Brooks. He went to school at Kaiser High School, and graduated in 2002. Brooks enjoys surfing, skateboarding, playing baseball, football, and soccer. He also enjoys playing guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He used to play in a rock band in high school. Brooks is of Irish, Polish, Belgian and Norwegian decent. Brooks says he started his acting career with the theatre program at his high school.
