The Six Flags Great America Dark Knight coaster is located in Orleans Place next to Superman: Ultimate Flight and uses former Theater Royale as its queue. The Theater Royale building also houses a pre-show room. The building has been modified and extensively themed as a Gotham City Rail terminal. The The Dark Knight concept layout (also shown here) was recently released for Six Flags Great America.
There is an interlude upon going on the ride where riders enter a room with a large television screen. Aaron Eckhart appears in a marketing video that sets up some of the plot of the film.
