Darkstar is a skateboarding company based in El Segundo, CA founded in 1997 by pro skateboarder Chet Thomas, along with his brother Matt Thomas, under Dwindle Distribution. Originally a wheel company, it has since expanded into a board company with professional riders. It was named after the Grateful Dead song of the same name.
