He wrote an updated edition published in September 2008 for Google's 10th Birthday. Vise received an MBA from Penn's Wharton School of Business. The school named him one of its most influential alumni on its 125th anniversary and honored him with The Joseph Wharton Award. He holds an honorary Doctorate of Literary Letters from Cumberland University and studied at the London School of Economics.
Vise is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.
