David Cuéllar Tainta (born November 1, 1979 in Pamplona, Navarre) is a Spanish footballer currently with UD Salamanca on loan from Real Murcia, as a right winger.
Cuéllar came through the youth ranks of Athletic de Bilbao, but managed only to play 14 games without scoring a single goal from 2000-02, eventually leaving the club. His debut with the first came on December 20, 2000, coming as a late substitute in a 1-1 home draw with Valencia CF.

After two seasons at Elche CF and two at Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the second division, he made a comeback to La Liga with the Catalan side in 2006-07 (scoring his first goal in the top division, in a September 24, 2006 2-2 draw against Racing de Santander), before earning himself a move back to Athletic for the 2007-08 season, where he only appeared on seven occasions.
Subsequently, Cuéllar joined Real Murcia, freshly relegated to the second level, appearing rarely in his debut year. In August 31, 2009, he was loaned for a season to another side...
