David Peter Maxwell Hawker (born 1 May 1949), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since May 1983, representing the Division of Wannon, Victoria, previously represented by former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser. David is currently the Deputy Chair of the Joint Standing Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade. David is also a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Broadcasting of Parliamentary Proceedings and the Joint Standing Committee for the Parliamentary Library, along with the House of Representatives Procedures Committee which looks at operations of the House during sittings.
