His younger brother, Lev, is a history teacher at The Beacon School in New York City. Lev was an extra in Newsies. Moscow was engaged to actress Kerry Washington from October 2004 to March 2007. The magazine Time Out New York reported that he has been involved in developing sustainable and economic housing in Harlem.
