Dealers is a 1989 British film directed by Colin Bucksey. It stars Paul McGann and Rebecca De Mornay.
Whitney Payne is an American owned City based Investment Bank reeling after the loss of £100million by one of its brokers, Tony Eisner, who subsequently commits suicide by shooting himself in the board room. It's up to the others to save the company and some are eager to take up Tony's now-vacant 'dollar book' position to do so. These include Robbie Barrell (O'Connor) and Daniel Pascoe (McGann). But tensions rise after the directors of Whitney Payne employ a beautiful American broker named Anna Schuman (De Mornay) to pull the company out of the mess.
Dealers received a fairly mixed response from its critics, some describing it as 'poorly acted' and 'poorly scripted', with others describing it as having an 'edge-of-your-seat climax'.
