Deathwish, Inc. is a brand started by Jacob Bannon and Tre McCarthy in 2001. It started primarily as a hardcore punk/metallic hardcore record label, and has also branched out into other counterculture-oriented businesses such as sponsoring mixed martial arts fighters. In mid-2007 Deathwish merged with long-time friends Malfunction Records. Both labels still exist separately, but both are run by Deathwish.
