Though both these serials were popular, Delaney became better known as a recurring cast member of The Paul Hogan Show in the late 1970s. She also made regular appearances as a panel member on the top-rated Blankety Blanks in 1977-1979. She was co-presenter on the popular quiz show Sale of the Century from 1982 to 1986.
Delaney has been married to The Paul Hogan Show co-star John Cornell since the 1970s. They have two children, Allira and Liana Cornell. Liana has followed in her mother's footsteps as a model and actress, while Allira has chosen to pursue a career behind the camera lens as a photogapher.
