Denise Vernac (June 3, 1916 - October 31, 1984) was a French film actress and also film maker Erich von Stroheim's secretary and constant companion after they met. She appeared in a number of films, including some with her future husband von Stroheim. Vernac had a small part in the von Stroheim-starring film The Mask of Diijon.
