The police and a journalist are investigating crimes involving the despositarios, such as the lovelorn man who kidnaps his ex-lover’s clone and keeps her in his room while trying to revive her humanity. Inside the police procedural and love story themes the film addresses many issues, such as right to life and the ethics of genetic engineering.
Both thought-provoking and action-packed, this is another great example of the original and intelligent sci-fi films coming out of Mexico."
