Dick Shearer

Dick Shearer (September 21, 1940 – September 20, 1997) was an American jazz trombonist. He is most famous for his work as lead trombonist and music director for the Stan Kenton Orchestra, since taking over the lead chair from Jim Trimble in the early 1970s until Stan's death in 1979.
