Dina Ruiz Eastwood (born July 11, 1965) is a news anchor for KSBW-TV in the Salinas valley and Monterey peninsula area of central California.
She was born in Castro Valley, a city within the East Bay area of California. Her father was of Black and Japanese background, and her mother of Welsh, English and German descent. Ruiz, who graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California, anchored Newsline for Ohlone College Television, then majored in Radio/TV at San Francisco State University.
She is the wife of actor/director Clint Eastwood, who she first met during an interview in 1993. The couple has one daughter, Morgan (born December 12, 1996). They were married in Las Vegas when Eastwood surprised her with a private ceremony at a home on the Shadow Creek Golf Course.
Dina is currently chair of The California Museum for History, Women and the Arts Board of Trustees.
She subsequently has acted in two of his films, True Crime (1999) and Blood Work (2002).
