It's best to drive to these launches with a truck or SUV with 4WD, or at least AWD.  The adventuresome may be able to make it to the top with a 2WD truck, but sedans and compacts are definitely NOT recommended.  Some sites labeled "dirt 4WD" may have regulations that require 4WD vehicles. more
