Donald Ankeny is President and Chief Executive Officer of Westcore
Properties, a California-based entrepreneurial real estate investment
firm, where he presides over the company’s portfolio of office,
industrial and retail properties. Additionally, Don is focused on
utilizing his specific expertise in real estate and capital markets to
broaden the company’s investment platform to include real estate
operating companies, fund development and land entitlement.
Prior
to his appointment at Westcore, Don was Managing Partner with Riverside
Capital Partners where he was engaged in consulting, development and
capital raising activities involving formation of new REITs,
privatization of REITs and acquisition of real estate operating
companies. Before that, Don was in charge of the real estate group at
the investment banking firm of Robertson Stephens. Under his
leadership, the company was involved in many of the country’s most
significant public and private real estate transactions. Prior to that,
he was a Partner with Trammell Crow Company.
Don holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and a
Masters of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of
Business.
