Felicia Hardy is kidnapped by evil scientist Dr. Octavius, to provoke her mother Anastasia to hand him ransom money that she previously promised him, in which he requires to fund his experiments. Peter, having dated Felicia, remembers Octavius from his childhood, when his Uncle Ben took him to science camp. The villain demands that Jameson, having insulted the scientist, personally deliver the ransom money, concluding that Jameson too will be held hostage. Spider-Man decides to follow Jonah in order to prevent this, though Doctor Octopus demands that with two hostages, twice the ransom is required. Peter, having known Octavius, respectively delivers the ransom, and Dr. Octopus reveals his fusion experiments to Peter, however, refuses to release the hostages. Spider-Man is then forced to save them, and successfully rescues...
