Dudley Foster

Dudley Foster (born 1925 in Brighouse, Yorkshire – died 8 January 1973 in London) was an English actor most notable on TV. He appeared in such series as Danger Man, The Saint, The Avengers, Steptoe and Son, Doctor Who, and Z Cars, often in villainous roles. He occasionally appeared in films. His early death was the result of a suicide. In 1965 he appeared in the film The Little Ones as Superintendent Carter alongside Derek Newark.
