Duman (in English: "smoke", "mist") is a Turkish rock band. The band combines elements of traditional Turkish folk music with modern rock. Duman consists of Kaan Tangöze (vocals and rhythm guitar), Batuhan Mutlugil (lead guitar and backing vocals), and Ari Barokas (bass guitar and backing vocals).

Kaan began writing songs while living in Seattle in the early 1990s, and performing with a band called Mad Madame. Upon returning to Turkey, he reunited with former classmate Ari and his bandmate in the Blue Blues Band, Batuhan, forming Duman. The band's name, meaning smoke in Turkish, came from one of their first songs, entitled Halimiz Duman. After an initial search for a drummer, they decided to work with session musicians. With the exception of their latest album, the band predominantly worked with drummer Alen Konakoğlu.
Duman has released three studio albums, and a live album. They released their first album, “Eski Köprünün Altında” in 1999 and second, “Belki Alışman Lazım” in 2002....
