Dunwoody is a city located in metro Atlanta, in northern DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. Formerly a census-designated place (CDP), it became incorporated as a city on December 1, 2008. As of the 2000 Census, the CDP had a total population of 32,808. A recent estimate placed the city's population at 39,583.
