The people in this group are the drivers of the wagon (Mr. Callahan) and the stagecoach (Dusty), a wealthy Eastern banker and his wife (Mr. and Mrs. Brookhaven), a dance-hall woman (Lulu), an educated man (Andy), and a farmer's daughter (Betsy).
