Ed Healey

Edward Francis Healey, Jr. (December 28, 1894 - December 9, 1978) was a professional football player for the Rock Island Independents, and best known with the Chicago Bears. Healey attended Dartmouth College and was a three-year starter in football. When he heard of the news of a new football league being formed in 1920, he decided to join. He was an all-league pick five times during his eight-year NFL career, as a tackle.
