Eiji Okada (岡田英次) (13 June 1920 Chiba, Japan – 14 September 14 1995 Japan) was a well-known Japanese film actor. Okada was in the Japanese army during the second world war, and was a miner and traveling salesman before becoming an actor.
His most internationally best remembered roles include Lui ("him", in French) in the film Hiroshima mon amour (1959), directed by Alain Resnais, and as the entomologist Niki Junpei in Hiroshi Teshigahara's Woman ...
