Elie Walter Martel (born November 26, 1934 in Capreol, Ontario) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1967 to 1987, as a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP). Martel was educated at North Bay Teacher's College and Laurentian University.
