Elizabeth Rogers (May 18, 1934 – November 6, 2004) was an American actress.
Born Betty Jayne Rogers in Austin, Texas, she was famous for being the relief communications officer for Lt. Uhura in some episodes of the 1960s television series Star Trek. Born Betty Jayne Rogers in Austin, Texas, she was famous for being the relief communications officer for Lt. Uhura in some episodes of the 1960s television series Star Trek. From 1960 to 1970 she appeared in thirty-seven different television episodes as minor roles. She has been in series such as "Little House on the Prairie", "Bewitched", "The Towering Inferno", "Gunsmoke", "The Waltons", Flood, "Marcus Welby, M.D.", Dragnet 1966, "Mannix", "Dragnet 1967", "Bonanza", "The Time Tunnel", "Dr. Kildare", and "Slattery's People". During the 1970s she also appeared in a string of Irwin Allen produced films including The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno as she was a good friend of Allen. Her last major motion picture was An Officer and a Gentleman in 1982.
She died from multiple strokes and lung cancer on November 6, 2004 in Tarzana, California at the age of 70.
