Ellen's early education was in the Texas school system, but after beginning her formal acting career in Chitty, she alternated between private tutoring and the Burbank California public school system as her acting career allowed until she formally signed with Quality Education by Design (QED), a homeschool educational consultancy. She is a native of the state of Texas and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Ellen is back in Burbank after finishing filming The Clique.
Marlow originated in the lead role of Jemima Potts in the Broadway production of the Tony-nominated musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the age of 10.
