Ellen Stagg

Ellen Stagg (born January 31, 1978) is an American photographer specializing in fashion, celebrity, advertising and erotic. Born and raised in Easton Connecticut, Stagg lived a more sheltered, suburban life before moving to New York City in 1996. She attended the School of Visual Arts (SVA) where she received a BFA in Photography. Stagg now resides in Brooklyn, and after ten years in the city proudly identifies herself as a New Yorker. Stagg signed with her first agent during her junior year at SVA. After five years Stagg moved on and had her first major ad campaign with Nixon watches within a year. Stagg has shot for magazines such as Teen Vogue, Life, Vibe, i-D, Flaunt and The Fader. Her celebrity portfolio includes Scarlett Johansson, Fallout Boy, Tony Hawk, Moby, and Tenacious D.
