Since 2000, Elmore County has been ranked as Alabama's third fastest growing county. According to a recent report, ECEDA has created 1110 jobs over the last 4 years. Most of that development has occurred in the aerospace and automotive manufacturing industries. Elmore County has a unique economic location for both the automobile and aerospace manufacturing.
