She was discovered by Elite Model Management after becoming a semi finalist in the Elite Model Look Yugoslavia 2001 and topping the Elite Model Look Contest 2001. In the same year, she signed a contact with Elite Model Management. She resided in Yugoslavia until the age of seventeen, and then returned to the United States. Since her debut, she has posed in advertisements for brands Dolce & Gabbana, Bergdorf Goodman, Dooney & Bourke, Etro, Versace, Emanuel Ungaro, Blumarine, Jean Paul Gaultier, Bottega Veneta, Iceberg, Mango, Extè, H&M;, and Just Cavalli.
