Empacher (company name Bootswerft Empacher GmbH) is a manufacturer of boats. Originally building sailing yacht, it was founded by Willy Empacher in 1923 in Königsberg, East Prussia. In 1952 they started producing racing rowing shells, an enterprise that has become their main business today. They are currently based in Eberbach, Germany.
