On 20 November 2006, at about 9:30 AM local time, an 18 year old former student (Sebastian Bosse aka ResistantX) graduate of 2005, entered the Geschwister Scholl School (a Realschule), firing several shots and setting off smoke grenades. 8 people were injured. He was later found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. He had left an Internet posting and a video message from his parents' living room shortly before the attack. The shooter stated that he hated people and was taught to be a "loser" at his school. He also left a suicide note on his website, which is now deleted.
