A departue is witnessed firstly from long term server Jeanie Boulet who goes to care for her HIV positive child, Medical Student Lucy Knight departs when she is killed in an attack from a patient and finally Carol Hathaway makes all fans happy by leaving to begin a new life with Doug Ross.
