Facing the Animal is an album released in 1997 by guitarist Yngwie J. Malmsteen.
The album features one of the veteran drummer Cozy Powell's last performances before his death in 1998.
Although credited to Yngwie Malmsteen, "Air on a Theme" is an arrangement of the 2nd movement (Largo) of Antonio Vivaldi Piccolo Concerto in C major (RV443).
