Four people die mysteriously in New York City and the only connection is the fact that all of them died within 48 hours of logging on to "feardotcom.com", a website that depicts voyeuristic torture murder. Detective Mike Reilly teams up with Terry Huston, a Department of Health researcher, to uncover the cause behind the unexplained deaths and to prevent future deaths from happening again after the website becomes a popular topic.
