While he received critical acclaim for the first two; ...And Justice for All got a mixed reception, mainly due to a strong suggestion the bass guitar had been mixed out. It was the last time he would work with the band. Regardless of the reception of the album, Lars Ulrich, the drummer of Metallica, was jumping with joy after the album was recorded, thinking that it was the album he always wanted to make.
He produced the Morbid Angel album Covenant, Blind Guardian's albums Imaginations from the Other Side, The Forgotten Tales and Nightfall in Middle-Earth, Artillery's By Inheritance and Ensiferum's Iron, amongst others....
