Fra McCann

Fra McCann is an Irish politician. McCann became active in the Irish republican movement and during the 1970s was jailed on a number of occasions. In 1987, he was elected to Belfast City Council in a by-election, representing Sinn Féin. McCann was elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly representing West Belfast in 2003 and again in 2007.
