François-Adrien Boieldieu (pronounced: [fʁɑ̃.swa a.dʁiɛ̃ bwa.ɛld.jø]) (16 December 1775, Rouen – 8 October 1834, Varennes-Jarcy, Essonne) was a French composer, mainly of operas, often called "the French Mozart".
