Frank O'Connor (September 22, 1897 – November 9, 1979) was an American actor and representationalist painter, most known for his marriage to the novelist Ayn Rand, which lasted from April 15, 1929, until his death in 1979.

O'Connor was born Charles Francis O'Connor to a working class Catholic family in Lorain, Ohio.
Ayn Rand wrote that she and her husband shared a certain view of the world: "The essence of the bond between us is the fact that neither of us has ever wanted or been tempted to settle for anything less than the world presented in The Fountainhead. We never will." Along with Rand, O'Connor took an unpaid position on the 1940 presidential campaign for Wendell Wilkie, and in a televised interview with Phil Donahue shortly after O'Connor's death, Rand further noted that "he was more of an atheist than I am, if degrees are possible."
