Frieda Rebecca Hughes (born April 1, 1960) is an English poet and painter. She has published seven children's books and four poetry collections and has had many exhibitions. Frieda Hughes is the daughter of poets Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes. Her mother was one of the most influential poets of the century and her father was a British poet laureate.
