Gammaretrovirus

A gammaretrovirus is a genus of the retroviridae family. Example species are the murine leukemia virus and the feline leukemia virus. Many endogenous retroviruses, closely related to exogenous gammaretroviruses, are present in the DNA of mammals (including humans), birds, reptiles and amphibians.
