Geoff Zanelli (born September 28, 1974) is a composer working primarily in the medium of film music. His early career was notable for scoring additional music on roughly 30 film scores written by Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, Klaus Badelt and Steve Jablonsky including each film in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, The Last Samurai, Pearl Harbor, Equilibrium and Hannibal. He has since moved on to more solo work, including his 2006 score for Steven Spielberg's miniseries Into The West, as well as the films Secret Window, House of D, Disturbia, Delgo, Hitman, Outlander, and Ghost Town.
He is from Westminster, California, is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, currently writes at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, and has worked with filmmakers including Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, Jerry Bruckheimer, Gore Verbinski, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Edward Zwick, David Koepp and David Duchovny.
