George Macready (August 29, 1899 – July 2, 1973) was an American stage, film, and television actor who was noted for playing polished villains. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island and claimed to be a descendant of the 19th-century Shakespearean actor William Charles Macready. He graduated from Brown University.
